I was feeling pretty good the other day - I'd just gotten a new shirt, and Tim said it made me look like I was 24 again, in a good way ha ha! (Like that's such a long way from 29??) Anyway, we have a step stool for the kids in their bathroom, and it belonged to me when I was small. It has my name carved on the top, and it's all scuffed and scratched up from years of use. So Claire, who's beginning to learn to read in school, is reading all of the letters, and realizes that it says Rebekah. So she asks me if the step stool was mine, and I said yes, and told her the story of how I got it, thinking - this is such a nice, nostalgic moment for us! So as I walk away feeling all warm and fuzzy, I hear Claire say to herself, "Wow, this thing is REALLY old!" So much for feeling 24 again.
