one life to live

milo's 2nd birthday is coming up next week, and claire was just asking me how many lives milo has.

me - he's got 1 life.

claire - well, bitsy (grammy's cat) was reeally old - how many lives did she have?

me - uh, just 1 life -like all other animals! they have 1 life.

claire - even giraffes?!

not really sure how giraffes popped into that conversation, but it was funny nonetheless ;) hehe.
