my boys are growing up...

we went to see Oklahoma last night, at one of our high schools. they did a fabulous job, and it was so much fun to watch! claire was completely engrossed in the characters, laughing, giggling, and sighing at all the appropriate moments :)

cameron, on the other hand, was struggling through some of the romantic scenes! he absolutely HATES watching people kissing in movies, and since there were several of those kisses exchanged during the course of the play, at one point, cam had zipped his coat over his head, and i saw him covering his ears. haha - as we were getting into the car to leave, we asked the kids how they liked the play.

claire - "i LOVED it!"

caloway - "BORING."

cameron - "when i get home, i'm going to dunk my head in some ice cream, so i don't have to think about all that kissing!"

we haven't laughed that hard in awhile.

there must be something about conversations in the car, because today, on the way to walmart, caloway announced,

"mom, when i see a pretty girl, my eyes will turn into hearts, cuz' i'll love her!"
