We had a fabulous easter sunday! Can I just say that restaurants had nothing on the dinner we enjoyed this afternoon!! My mom coached me on making the perfect roast, and we also had parmesan
asparagus, some divine parmesan mashed
potatoes and deliciously sunny
whipped strawberry cake! My sister talked me into getting a pepper grinder, and I also found some sea salt with a grinder as well - it made SUCH a difference in the food! The kiddos hunted for eggs like madmen, Dan and Erica and Ava came over, and we had a great time together. We are just so thankful for family and for health. At Terra Nova, our interning church, the pastor told us this morning that just about everything went wrong as they started 2 services for the first time today. One of their drummers, a really nice young guy, experienced the death of his mom unexpectedly this week. The whole family had been at church wed. night, and on thursday morning, his mom was out walking their dogs downtown Delaware, and got hit by a car and was killed. Their entire family was there at church this morning, and it was so difficult to think of what to say, and t

here was nothing you COULD say! You hear of bizarre tragedies every now and then, but not usually close by. It just makes you want to hold your babies close. I pray everyone had safe holiday travels, and that we were all able to celebrate JESUS above all, for his ultimate sacrifice.
