Little minions.

Ohh the joys of homeschooling with two toddlers running afoot. It's certainly been an adventure this time around, trying to teach math and language while two littles terrorize the house. I was doing math facts with Caloway on Friday, satisfied that Mac and Levi's little blonde heads were within eyeshot. Unfortunately, what I could NOT see was what was in their HANDS.
This is what happened.
Yep. Red paint. And this was after I mopped the floor. And after cal dragged a red-paint-slathered Levi upstairs to the bath. I literally had to wipe paint out of Levi's ears. His head, face, hands and feet were covered with slimy paint. It was not picture worthy, let me tell you!! And the carpet? Well, I'm not even attempting to try to swab that out. It's just not worth the enormous time and effort it would take to even try. Let me take a moment to explain why I have no energy left to try and clean that carpet ....

1. An entire gallon of milk was dumped onto the carpet (macky)
2. Two dozen eggs were cracked and broken onto the carpet (macky)
3. Mistakenly assumed a paper bag was appropriate to use while cleaning ashes out of fireplace. Half-dollar size burn holes resulted. (mommy)
4. Baking soda used for previously mentioned spilled milk left white spots on carpet.
5. Homemade play dough ground into carpet (mommy made it. macky and levi took it out of kitchen)
6. Homemade flubber (cal's science experiment) dried and glued to carpet (macky)

So you can see where the line has been drawn ;) but seriously - do we replace it with more carpet?! Concrete floors? I'm at a bit of a loss.
